General Impression
At first sight, Website Source looks like any other ordinary web hosting
company. There are no gimmicks or special plans but high priced plans
used to attract corporate customers who do not know what they are doing.
Their cheapest plan is $13.95, and they only provide you with 6 GB of
traffic and 200 MB of space. You can get more than double the amount of
features by going with another company and by paying only half the price.
Even though Website Source has been one of the oldest web hosting company,
been around since 1998, it hasn't changed much.
Price
and Cost Effectiveness
Website Source definitely is more expensive
than other average web hosting companies. But even so, its quality of
service and support does not justify the high cost of purchasing hosting
from this company. The only positive aspect that may justify the price
is if you use their Miva Merchant program or implement streaming features
onto your website. They also offer telnet access and the best thing that
justify what they charge is the fact that they provide users with an authorize.net
merchant account, which is mandatory to begin accepting credit cards online.
Reliability
With Website Source, our site has always
been up. However, they had some configuration issues with our site when
our site was hosted there. For some reason we couldn't get php to work
properly. When a php script was loaded, it kept displaying it as if it
was a text file. After two calls and three e-mails, they were finally
able to fix it after getting an e-mail from the techician directly.

At the moment, they are connected via redundant
connection to Qwest, GTE and GlobalCenter (Formerly Primenet).
Customer Service
We once had a billing issue and needed
to contact customer service. We were experimenting with their 30 day money
back guarantee. Well after submitting a trouble ticket, we recieved a
response later requesting why we wanted to cancel and we just filled out
their fill and said because we couldn't afford it. An hour later, we recieved
confirmation that our refund was processed and behold two days later,
the refund was sucessfully put back into our checking account. Since we
transfer a domain over, we recieved a complete refund for the entire purchase.
Technical support was also good and responses were answered in a timely
manner. We had some problems with installing scripts because of lack of
understanding and after e-mailing them our script problem, they responded
back and assisted us in installing the script. The only problem is the
tech support number is long distance and we had to use our phone card.
But besides that, we would have ot say that the people who work here are
knowledgable and understanding.

features on screen. This makes it easier for the user because it requires
lesser clicks from them in order to get to a certain action.
Overall
Website Source is an average web hosting company that charges outragous
prices for its web hosting plan. With better companies to go around, he
highly reccomend saving your money for better web hosting companies.
